Fractional CFO
Your books tell you where the business has been. This is the work that tells you where it's headed: forecasts, budgets, pricing, and someone to think through the big calls with.
Monthly CFO Packages
For owners who've stopped asking "are the books right?" and started asking "what should I do next?" You don't need to be a bookkeeping client. If someone else keeps your books, that works too.
CFO Quarterly
A plan, checked four times a year
$500–$800/month
- A forecast for the year ahead, updated every quarter
- A KPI dashboard built around the handful of numbers that actually drive your business
- A quarterly planning meeting: what happened, what's changed, what to do about it
Best for steady businesses that want a plan and a regular check against it
CFO Monthly
A finance lead, every month
$1,000–$1,800/month
- Everything in Quarterly
- A 13-week cash flow forecast, so you see a tight month coming before it arrives
- An annual budget, with budget against actual every month
- A monthly advisory meeting
- Help thinking through hiring, equipment, and other big calls before you make them
Best for growing businesses making real decisions every month
CFO Partner
Someone in the room for the big decisions
$2,000–$3,500/month
- Everything in Monthly
- Pricing and margin work: which services, jobs, or customers actually make you money
- Your numbers prepared for lender and bank conversations, and me in the meeting if you want me there
- Direct access when a decision can't wait for the next meeting
Best for owners growing fast, borrowing, or planning a big move
Where you land in each range depends on the size and complexity of the business. You'll see the number before you sign. Month-to-month, no minimum commitment, same as bookkeeping.
One-Time Projects
Not every question needs a monthly engagement. Some need one good answer. Each project is quoted flat, up front, from your actual scope.
Cash flow forecast
$1,500–$3,000
A forecast built from your real numbers, handed over in a form you can keep updating yourself.
Annual budget
$1,500–$3,000
A budget for the year built with you, not for you, so it reflects how the business actually runs.
Pricing and margin analysis
$1,500–$4,000
Which work makes money and which just keeps you busy. Busy and profitable are two different questions.
Lender or bank package
$1,000–$2,500
Clean statements, a forecast, and the story behind them, ready before you walk into the bank.
KPI dashboard setup
$1,000–$2,500
The few numbers worth watching, pulled into one place and set up to refresh as the books close.
Exit or sale readiness
$5,000+
Quoted from your scope. Books and reporting a buyer can trust, prepared alongside your attorney and CPA. I handle the numbers, not the legal or tax side.
Books First, Then the Forecast
A forecast is only as good as the books under it. So before any CFO work starts, I review yours.
If I keep your books
That review is already done every month. CFO work builds straight on top of it.
If someone else does
I'll go through the file first. If it needs work, I can clean it up, or I can work with your bookkeeper directly and help get them up to speed. That training is included in your package, not billed on top. Either way, you won't get a forecast built on numbers I haven't checked.
Start with a 15-minute call
Tell me what you're trying to figure out. I'll tell you whether it's a monthly package, a one-time project, or a books problem first.
