Clean books & someone who can tell you what they mean.
Willow Creek Accounting is a bookkeeping and fractional-CFO firm for service-based businesses across Idaho's Magic Valley. We help you always know what your numbers are telling you.
Who this is for
"How am I going to make payroll?" I've had owners ask me that a week after a month that looked profitable on paper. Service-based businesses across the Magic Valley, who want someone watching the numbers year-round instead of once a year at tax time.
Two Ways to Work Together
Most owners start with bookkeeping. If your books are already in good hands, CFO work can stand on its own.
Monthly Bookkeeping
Reconciled accounts, categorized transactions, and financial statements you can actually read, on a schedule you can count on.

Cash flow forecasts, budgets, pricing and margin work, and lender packages. Monthly packages or one-time projects, whether or not I keep your books.

Essential
One bank account and one credit card · roughly 75 transactions a month · a single entity
Standard
Up to three bank accounts and two credit cards · roughly 250 transactions a month · one card reader or payment processor · class tracking
Premium
Job costing · reporting by location or service line · inventory · more than one entity · higher volume than Standard covers
Treat this as a starting point rather than a quote. I'll tell you which tier you're in on the first call — before you sign, not after.
Getting started
A one-time onboarding fee equal to one month of your quoted monthly rate, due at signing. The first month takes several times the work of a normal one, and it's charged on every engagement.
The Services page covers quarterly and annual options, and what happens when your books are bigger than Premium.
Behind on your books?
Catch-Up
If your books are behind, catch up comes first. You get one flat quote before any work starts, and it finishes with a tax-ready handoff for your CPA. Most catch-up projects run $1,500–$4,500, depending on how far back we're going. Once you're caught up, monthly bookkeeping picks up from there.
Clean-Up
"My books don't match my bank. What did I do?" Books can be perfectly up to date and still be wrong. That's a clean-up rather than a catch-up, and it's scoped and quoted based on what needs fixing.
Your first month is guaranteed. If my work doesn't leave your books noticeably cleaner than before, you don't pay for it.
Month-to-month subscription, no minimum commitment. Books are maintained on a cash basis. Financial statements are delivered within 15 business days of month end.
As a CMA, I've spent eight years helping small business owners (70+ so far) sleep better at night knowing their finances are in order.
Most of them love what they do and never learned to keep track of it. I take that seriously. When a business goes under in a valley this size, people lose jobs and the town loses something it was counting on. The price of a good bookkeeper is pretty cheap insurance in the grand scheme of things.
